The Beauty of Books Fundraiser

Chapter 8 Events is composed of eight students in the Event Management postgraduate program at Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. With our program we were called upon to create, produce, and execute a charity fundraising event. When given this task, we decided to choose a cause that lay close to our hearts and with that we decided to support children's literacy. As postgraduate students we see the importance of acquiring strong written and verbal skills and hope all children are given the opportunity to learn and develop their abilities. As big supporters of helping children develop, The Children’s Book Bank was the perfect choice. Chapter 8 Events believes in giving back to the local community, which is why we also teamed up with the Humber Scholarship Fund.
