Ballard Bunch Need Their Dad

This page is dedicated to my five kids whom I refer to as The Ballard Bunch.
As of July 19, 2016 a judge in Cole County, Missouri (Jefferson City) has restricted the rights of The Ballard Bunch. regarding their relationship with their father. The Ballard Bunch no longer has unfettered access to their father without the express consent of their mother. The detais are many, but the decision was not based on fact or evidence provided during the trial, but the decision was made based purely on the judge's ignorance and intolerance and homophobia. Yes there father is gay, but prior to the ruling the father the Ballard Bunch had been the primary stay at home parent for five years without incident.
The mother of The Ballard Bunch admitted on the stand that he was a good father, a good provider and never had concerns about her children's welfare when they were with him. She went on to testify she went on numerous personal and business trips leaving the children in his care with no concerns. Yet the judge went against the mother's expressed wishes of joint custody and gave her sole physical custody of the children.
The Ballard Bunch deserves two active parents in their life each day and given their unique special needs it is ra necessity for both parents to be actively involved. This decision has the potential to create additional stress and trauma on these children who were all adopted from the Missouri foster care system. This judge has robbed The Ballard Bunch of a stable life that included two parents working on their behalf.
The Ballard Bunch need your help financially to launch an appeal to overturn this decision to keep them from their father. The expenses of the divorce trial have not all been met and the expenses of the appeal are yet to be determined. We need the funds as soon as possible to secure an appeals attorney who can initiate the process as soon as possible.
In a time in our American society when so many are crying out for father's to be more involved in the lives of their children, this one ruling has limited that father involvement for The Ballard Bunch. How does that make sense? None of us truly understand how the judge's motivation can be anything other than ignorance and homophobia!
We assure you that the funds raised in this campaign will all go directly to legal fees. None of these funds will be used for living expenses, travel or anything other than lawyer and court fees. You can also be assured that the father of The Ballard Bunch (Brock Ballard) is selling and liquidating everything he can to help cover these expenses. You can expect to see him downsizing significantly and selling anything that isn't nailed down to fund this appeal process.
All The Ballard Bunch is looking for is time with their dad. Time where they don't feel like they are being watched and living in a fish bowl when with their dad. The Ballard Bunch wants a semblance of normal life that includes both of their parents on a daily basis. What child doesn't want that?
We just want to be a family that can come and go as we please. We want to be a family that can play and grow without any more hindrances than necessary. We want to be a family that can love and accept one another freely. We want to be a family! Please help us!
