The Stigma Free Zone News needs Funding!

Donation protected
Cynthia Chazen volunteers to write the Stigma Free Zone News of NJ to unite the thousands of volunteers working for this educational initiative. She is not compensated.

No volunteer or organization featured in the newsletter is ever charged a fee when their announcement is promoted. All subscriptions are free. It reaches more than 20,000 readers a month, worldwide, through email and social media.

CarePlus NJ Foundation funded the newsletter 2016-2017.  In 2018, the Bergen County Freeholders awarded the newsletter a grant. IN 2019 we have been relying on organizations to voluntarily buy ads/sponsor the monthly issue. We are very close!

The newsletter has influenced other advocates around the world. Thanks to our presence on Twitter @TheMHEditor,  The Stigma Free Zone Initiative was included in a 2018 report to the UK Parliament on "Best Practices in Mental Health" submitted by a member of The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust. We are followed by dozens of US and Canadian Senators and all levels of NJ politicians, The World Health Organization, NIMH, The Mayo Clinic, NAMI, Mental Health America, doctors, academicians, social workers and thousands more working to lessen the stigma of mental illness and addiction.
We reach over 300 countries on Twitter! Our influence has become wide, indeed!

Monthly costs now are only $75, but as more subscribers are added, it will soon go up. Cynthia devotes 20+ unpaid hours a month to reporting, writing, and editing the newsletter and has never missed a deadline. She cannot do it all alone

Please give whatever you can... $25, $50,  $75, or more!  Help us stay in the inbox of important mental health and addiction legislators, policy-makers and most important... our volunteers!

Let's end the stigma of mental illness and addiction together.

Thank you!
