An Australian couple in pursuit of the outer tolerances of their relationship. One schoolteacher, one medic, two hearts intertwined in the quest for blah blah blah, it sounded like a fun time on the website and the youtube videos really suck you in so here we are doing the mongol rally 2018!
As a part of our adventure, we will be raising money for two charities; Cool Earth and Scleroderma Australia.
Cool Earth are the official charity supported by all Mongol Rally participants. The organisation work with communities to protect rainforests across the globe.
A cause however, much closer to our hearts, is Scleroderma Australia. My mum, the great Marlene Shannon has been battling Scleroderma for the past 17 years. Although many suffer from this disease, not a great deal is known. It is therefore vital that we support research by donating generously.
We are aiming to donate 500 GBP to Cool Earth, and the remainder of funds to Scleroderma Australia.
