Dear Friends, Family, Colleagues and Strangers abroad!

Our team, Kicked in the Face by a Monkey, started as a bucket list dream to do something fun and adventurous, so we signed up for what some people are calling crazy; The Rickshaw Run in India - a two week, 2500km race on a rickety auto rickshaw that goes an optimal speed of 35km/hr! This grueling trek will be undertaken in April  2019 - the beginning of India's hot season, with no set course and anticipation of break downs along the way! But hey - what better way to explore India!

Adventure aside, this event is super cool because it's ultimately a charity fundraiser. Half our fundraising proceeds go to the official event charity Cool Earth - a non profit organization that helps to save rainforests from deforestation around the world. https://www.coolearth.org/


To keep it local and support the country of India who's allowing us to partake in this incredible adventure, our second charity of choice is Tribe of Lambs where the remaining half of our fundraising will be donated to. This organization produces jewelry with 100% profits going to help kids in India with HIV.

We understand that there are a tonne of charities and fundraising events to choose from now a days so we don't want to put any obligation on anyone  to donate but we'd be thrilled with any support, big or small, you might be able to offer. 

Our minimum charity goal is $2500 and in return, not only will we bust our butts to win the race (or at least just make it to the finish line in time!) you can track us during the race through our team page blog  with updates and photos from April 14-27th on the Adventurist website!
