31863036_1534004738640317_r.jpegKirkcudbright Pre-School group is a small, intimate playgroup in a quiet corner of South West Scotland.

The group is a community group offering childcare to children whose parents need to work, study and sometimes take care of other family members……..as well as themselves.  The group is an invaluable asset to the local community as childcare providers are few and far between.
As well as helping parents it is of course giving really good quality care to the children themselves – something we are extremely passionate about.  The group is gearing up to offer nurturing activities for children; making the best use of the environment and giving children a great space to play, learn and socialize.

Therefore we are asking for donations.  This small registered charity is refurbishing its playroom and looking for toys and equipment to enhance the children’s experience within the group, a lot needs to be done.  Good hearted folk are helping out with odd jobs, but of course many things cost money.

Any amount would be truly appreciated and go a long a way to helping the group and any amount donated will get our heartfelt thanks.  Thanks to the wonderful good will of some Scottish story tellers, artists, musicians and publishers we are able to offer some perks to thank people who can donate a little more:

You will get you a signed photograph of Gary Lewis – the face of our crowdfunding, advocate of the group and actor who has most recently appeared in the Outlander series.

Donate £50 and you will receive -

1.  A copy of the wonderful children's book " Nip Nebs " written by Susi Briggs and illustrated by Ruthie Redden. This is the magical tale of Jack Frost. It is also printed in Scotland to the highest standards. It is a warm tale for cold nights; a terrific gift for any child.
