The Jonathan Antonioli Fund

$21,565 of $10,000 goal

Raised by 259 people in 9 months
Created February 13, 2018
As many of you know Bruce and Linda's son Jonathan was involved in a horrific motor vehicle accident Sunday evening.  He is currently in the ICU in critical condition.  Unfortunately his prognosis for recovery is poor.   This is never something a family plans for.   This fund has been created to help ease the financial burden that such a tragedy can create, so that Bruce and Linda can focus on Jonathan and their daughter Julia.  Whatever donation you can give is so appreciated.

On the evening of February 11th the lives of Bruce, Linda, and Julia were forever changed. They received the phone call no parent ever wants to receive, the hospital notifying them that Jonathan was in an accident. When they got there they were told he would not survive the injuries he sustained. When I arrived to my friend's side in the ICU and saw Jonathan laying there my life forever changed. In the hours to follow I created this Go Fund Me because I knew Jonathan would be leaving us on Earth and the only thing I wanted for my dear friend was for her and her family to be able to grieve their loss without having to worry about the financial impact a burial would have. Through all of your generosity that goal was achieved. I am posting this now because this past Thursday Jonathan's head stone was placed. I said to Bruce it is "perfectly beautiful". It shows who JP was so perfectly and shows how much he is loved so beautifully. Every minute of everyday since he has been gone there has been a void in their hearts, in their lives that will never be filled. Their pain is one that is indescribable. However ,every day Bruce and Linda continue to be so humbly grateful for everyone's prayers, warm thoughts and generosity. Our community came together and from what I can see many of us are still grieving this loss everyday but in that grief finding support from their loved ones, peers, and even strangers. That is the gift Jonathan left us, his love and compassion towards others still radiating through all of us. Sorry this was so long but Thank You doesn't seem like enough words to describe just how grateful the Antonioli's feel.

They are overwhelmed with gratitude for all the love they are receiving from the community and beyond. Services for Jonathan are tomorrow and I know this going to be difficult not only for Jonathan's parents and sister but for the kids. Dear God I pray for strength for all of us as prepare to say our final goodbyes to Jonathan.
