“The human spirit is one of ability, perseverance and courage that no disability can steal away”

Friends, we are asking you to be a part of something special for our dear friend Ronnie Bachman. Ronnie travels the U.S and Canada talking to thousands of kids and adults by helping them overcome the effects of bullying and hurt caused by other people in their lives and to bring awareness to all who hear his powerful and moving life story. Ronnie has had to work harder than most to raise his daughter as a single parent.  But now, Ronnie needs our help. He recently purchased some property to build a house that would accommodate his specific needs, however, due to a number of  surgeries and worsening medical conditions, he has experienced monetary setbacks, therefore, he has not been able to break ground. These funds will allow the foundation to be dug and the home built. Please help make it possible for Ron’s friends to build his forever home by giving what you can. This will truly be the “house that friends built”.

Over the last two decades, Ronnie's message has reached hundreds of thousands of young people, teachers, administrators, and parents throughout schools in the United States and Canada. The amazing part of this video above is hearing and seeing how the students respond to him during his program. And it doesn't stop there. His anti-bullying message stays with these young people long after Ronnie leaves the building. Stay tuned for more inspiring images and videos to be posted on The House That Friends Built page.

Longtime friend, Ricky Warner, shares his feelings about his buddy Ronnie!

Below is a picture of the lot on where the dream of the "house that friends built" will come true!

As each day of the campaign progresses, we will reveal more of Ron's story. He's lived a fascinating, difficult and exhilarating life all at the same time. Visit this GoFundMe campaign often and  be sure to share it with everyone you know.

Ron is filled with gratitude that all of his friends want to do this for him. As he is now recovering from major surgery and still facing additional surgeries with hospital stays, he is truly humbled and can't wait to have you all over once the house is completed! Well, maybe not all of us over at the same time but you can be sure he will never miss an opportunity to express his appreciation.

On a sun filled Michigan day, some of the team members from "The House That Friends Built" along with longtime friends and family participated in the first groundbreaking ceremony. If you couldn't make it to this one, you can be sure there are many more milestones to celebrate. There was laughter and love in the air along with over twenty colorful balloons to mark the occasion.

So many students have been uplifted by Ronnie. For two decades, he has travelled the U.S. and Canada giving his "Walk This Way" program. Here are photos from his visit to Scranton Middle School. After his program is over, they line up to get an autograph, photo and one-on-one moment to talk with Ronnie.
