Jo Cox was a UK Member of Parliament who was murdered in June 2016, on her way to a meeting with her constituents. Since then, Great Get Togethers take place every June to promote kindness, respect and all we have in common.
We are organising The Great Brussels Get Together in Place Jo Cox Plein to celebrate the solidarity and tolerance that Jo advocated for throughout her career. As hatred and division rise in Europe, please help us celebrate our best values and shared heritage.
We are inviting you to bring a picnic and join us for an afternoon of music, film and thought-provoking debate.
