The Georgia Park Rebuild
Donation protected
Last night in Salem, a fire ravaged the home of writer, poet, and beautiful soul, Georgia Park. She and her little dog made it out and are healthy and well but her home has been destroyed and along with that so has the majority of her belongings.
Without clothes, food, or any of her precious memories, Georgia has relocated into a hotel room for the short-term but is unaware of how long she will be able to stay there.
The apartment where she was living is now condemned and we are unaware of how long the cleanup and rebuild will take. In the meantime, Georgia still needs to go to work and to class and the option of moving in with family hours away will surely jeopardize not only her employment but also her education.
I am asking you to look into your hearts and dig into your wallets to help this artist gather the funds for temporary housing and to replace anything she needs in the time being. She has lost everything to this fire and I'd like to see the generosity of good people help her get back on her feet.
