Hi All,

 

As you know our beautiful friend Beth suffered a serious spinal injury 5 weeks ago.

 Whilst her recovery is going well, there is a long road left to travel.

 I like many have been left wondering how best I can help Beth and her family and I know a lot of you have been asking the same question. Some of you have also asked if anyone has set up a funding page, as a way of letting Beth and Paul know how many people are thinking of them and wishing them all the love and best wishes in the world.

I have decided to start this funding page based on this, and just so you all know, I have discussed it with Paul prior!

 Paul did say that it was important that nobody felt obliged to donate anything and he was keen to make sure that no targets were set or promises made for how any money raised is spent. He hopes that this means people aren’t pressured into giving a certain amount or thinking that as a family they need anything specific.

 Paul has mentioned that any money raised would go on what was needed most at the time, he has mentioned the following, although these are not prioritised:

 Unpaid Leave from Work for helping with Beth
Travel/Accommodation Costs if/when Beth is moved to Oswestry
Private Health Costs following Beth’s discharge for any useful further physio
 

Personally, I know that they have two holidays that they have had to cancel due to this, so I would be happy just to see them bugger off and relax.

 As Paul said, please DO NOT feel obliged to donate, but if like me, you feel you want to help but not sure the best way to do it then by all means, give what you feel is right.
