I am an Australian teacher, living in the south of Thailand. My mission here is to rescue, adopt, sterilize, treat and love as many street dogs as possible.

GoFundMe donations will go towards daily expenses to keep Thai Street Paws running. For items such as rice, produce and meat used to prepare food for shelter dogs as well as street dogs; medication to prevent blood parasite, tick/flea preventative, antibiotics, heartworm preventative, foster home expenses, sterilisations and much more.

The greatest obstacle I face right now is not owning a car. Having a reliable vehicle is critical to buying food and supplies, daily feeding and the transportation of dogs for veterinary care. In the end, I have realized that without a car, I am of little or no help to the dogs I've been working so hard to help for so long. By helping me to purchase a secondhand vehicle to use for my rescue activities, you would be contributing directly to ensuring these animals are fed and cared for.

My future goal, if funds allow, is to create a basic space to use as a clinic where dogs can be sterilized, recover and then released or placed in foster care to await their forever home. Sterilization is a huge expense in my budget, but necessary to stop the cycle of street dog reproduction. Having a basic clinic where sterilizations could be done locally would make a huge impact in the work I do and the future of Songkhla

street dogs.

Please note that my sister Nadia Johnston is attached to my gofundme, as she resides in the USA and the funds are sent to me via her.

Thank you for caring!
Tamara J.

Do you remember the basket pup? The 4 little cutie pies that were dumped on me by a man? They are growing up so quickly and super cute. They have all been on a course of treatment for blood parasite, as a precaution due to Billy being so sick. Here is a little clip of Bali and Braxton enjoying the sand pit in the puppy playground. Just adorable and once fully vaccinated and sterilized, they will be available for adoption.

I have been getting lots of updates about our pups in their new homes enjoying themselves. I wanted to share with you Manisha. Manisha is obsessed with snow. From a life of hell at the Hatyai shelter to the snow of New York! This girl was born to be a New Yorker. She also has the best mummies in the world, who absolutely adore her! So thankful.

We have an amazing fundraising opportunity to share with you! Click on the link below, buy some amazing AVON products for you and your family, and help raise money for Thai Street Paws Rescue. Please share with your family and friends so we can reach out goal!! Please note that all Avon products sold in the USA are NOT tested on animals.

Not much bothers our beautiful girl Paris. Look at her. Always making herself right at home, even at the vet!
Paris has been cancer free for a long time now, though it looks like it might be back. Today she was given a chemo shot and we will recheck in two weeks.

Thanks so very much for your support. Each day I am so thankful and amazed at all the beautiful people that support what I do. Without you, I can't do this, so thank you xx

A donation of 40 000 United Airlines miles will get five dogs to their new homes. Help Kade and 4 of his friends reach new opportunities for Happily Ever After! You could be a part of his story. Feel free to message me here or via our website.

Our gorgeous boy Tong is doing so well in Canada with his new mum and brother Tyson. I received this video of Tong with his new prosthetic leg. This is Tong just having it for a few hours! He hasn’t even started his therapy with it yet! So proud of this boy.

While I desperately miss this boy, I can't tell you how happy these photos and videos make me. This is only possible due to all the amazing people involved in his journey. Thank you from the bottom of my exploding heart.

You can follow Tong on his Instagram page @tysonandtong

Our beautiful girl Debbie was adopted Saturday. Thanks again to our amazing friends at LIFE Animal Rescue, for finding Debbie the perfect home. No other dogs and her new mum and dad are home all the time.

Happy life sweet girl. We love and miss you so much, but so happy for you

We need funds urgently. There is very little left to buy dog food, puppy milk, medications, pay bills or cover medical expenses.

I know so many other rescues are in the same situation. I also know that so many amazing people already help us and that means the world to me, thank you.

We are struggling big time with the low thai baht. The exchange rate is horrendous, getting just 21 baht per $1 Aussie dollar. Absolute nightmare.

I hate even thinking about this, but I may need to return Dexter the cat to the streets and cut back our daily feeding to once a day.

Please share Thai Street Paws facebook and Instagram pages. We need to reach out to as many people as possible. Every dollar counts. Thanks and much love x

Thank you to everyone that sponsored a dog for Valentine's Day. I hope you all had a lovely day with your loved ones. I had the best day, as little Billy came home from the hospital. I am thrilled that his platelet count is now within the normal range, even if the lower end of 110 000. This boy has certainly stolen my heart. When I went into the clinic yesterday to pay his bill, he heard my voice and let me know there was no way he was letting me leave without him. He has now been reunited with his siblings. His total bill was 6 585 baht.

Kylie, the little black pup, chilling on my lap after her 4pm feed. I sat there looking at her, imagining how different her life could have been. All because some lowlife poisoned her innocent mother. She is safe with us, along with her brother and sister.

I had a beautiful moment today with our little epileptic girl Amily. Watching her play with me and act like a puppy made my day. If I was on the ground, she was fine but the moment I stood up or tried to pick her up, she screamed. Poor little girl has obviously been hurt by a humans in the past.

Your support is so very much appreciated and needed. The thai baht is so low right now with the upcoming election and we are barely able to make ends meet. Please share my story and this link. Much love x
