Medical funds for our Dad Rich

Hi friends and family, this is my Dad Rich. For those of you who know him, you already know what a kind, generous heart he has. He has always helped other in needs and never asks for any help for himself. In fact, I don’t think anyone could ask for a better father, husband, grandfather, brother, etc. He has always been my hero.
Recently my Dad hasn’t been feeling well. His generous, kind heart wasn’t doing well. After under-going some test, it was found he has a rare case of an abnormally large aorta. He needs to have open heart surgery to repair his heart. His surgery is scheduled for February 26th. My brother Rick and I are starting this page to help with all the medical bills that won’t be covered, as well as the care our Dad will need following the surgery. Once he comes home from the hospital he will need to have an in-home nursing care, as well as daily physical therapy. We are hoping to provide enough support so my Dad doesn’t need to worry about anything other than a successful recovery. I know the road ahead will be difficult, but God is good, and we trust Him to help us through this.
It’s not easy to share with everyone our Dad’s financial need. In fact it’s very humbling for all of us. Our family is in need of both prayer and financial support until we are able to get my Dad through this crisis. The first month after open heart surgery is known as the depression phase. I will do anything to help him avoid any further worry. I want his main focus to be on feeling better. Our goal is to raise $9,000 to help cover any unpaid medical bills and to help with expenses during his recovery time. If you are unable to give, I would so appreciate your prayers for my Dad and my family.
