Help for Terry
Just to give you a quick update on my father, he has been transferred today from the ICU department to the ward after 37 days in intensive care. In which time both of his legs were surgically amputated from the knee down to prevent bacteria from further spreading in his body. We appreciate your support and will keep you updated on his health. Thank you
Russell Cottee, Mathew Bankuti, and Linda Dom. This has been on the national news, it's as real as it gets. The poor man has already lost both of his legs. If you don't want to donate that's fine, but please have some respect for the family who are going through utter hell right now. To the family, I hope the TV news story brings in many donations. Your dad is in our thoughts.
So much for the do - gooders who reject that a white tailed spider has such a devastating reaction on a person. I give you my support and wish your father all the best - I had a white tailed spider bite many years ago and had a severe reaction and very painful. Thankfully not as bad as your father has, but 3 months in hospital and many skin grafts and hand reconstruction. Do some research on the work that the late Struan Sutherland did on spider bites. Good luck!
miss linda, a return ticket from philippines to aus costs $600.travel insurance would cost around 200. he came here to visit his siblings. coming from a npt rich family, he consider it as an expense. where did u get the information that medicare would cover the costs?? they will be paying for it. any temporary resident/visitor (except for countries who got reciprocity) are not entitled for medicare. please get your facts straight. thanks.
