Terror InPodnito: Scares That Care Fundraiser!

Hey there podcast fans, friends, and family!

Want to join us in making a difference? Terror InPodnito is raising money to benefit Scares That Care!, a charity organization dedicated to helping those that need it more: children and their families.

Our goal is $200, a simple one that I think we can hit and even surpass with your help. As an incentive we've got a prize package ready to go in order to spice things up.

If we can hit our goal on or before Wednesday, July 31st we'll enter each donor into a chance to win one of six possible prize packages, which include:

- A signed head shot from David H. Thornton (Art the Clown in the popular horror film "Terrifier")

Winners will be announced on the Podcast on August 1st, just in time for the start of the Scares that Care! convention in Williamsburg, VA.

Scares that Care! and the people that work with them are some of the warmest souls around and their ability to help children in need is a testament to both their organization and the horror community.  Any donation will help make an impact. Scares That Care was founded by Joe Ripple, a retired Baltimore County, Maryland, Police Detective, in 2007 as a tribute to the daughter of a fellow officer who succumbed to a terminal illness. The charity originally started with the goal of raising $10,000 per year for organizations such as Make-A-Wish and the Kennedy Krieger Institute.

After several successful campaigns, the charity became more formalized in 2011 as an IRS approved 501(c)(3) and a newly established Board of Directors, they refocused to fight the REAL MONSTERS of childhood illness, burns and breast cancer by helping families that are experiencing these extraordinary hardships cope with the financial burden by raising and providing $10,000 per sponsored family.

They are a 100% VOLUNTEER organization in order to maximize our supporters donations to those who need it! Uniting fans of "all things spooky" in order to give back to those who need it most. They fight REAL monsters!
