The Terrell Animal Adoption Center is a Low Kill Animal Shelter located in Terrell Texas. Terrell Texas has a population of over 16,000. The Terrell Animal Adoption Center only has 16 cages. This makes it difficult to remain Low Kill in a City that is growing quickly. If the Terrell Animal Adoption Center had a larger facility the possibility of one day being a No Kill Animal Shelter could be more than just a dream. With budget restraints the City of Terrell can not afford to build a brand new shelter at this time. So we are going to ask the amazing community in Terrell and the amazing Animal lovers across the world for help!
We are needing a shelter with at least 50 General Dog Cages, a Cat room, a Puppy Room, a Sick room, a Quarantine room, a Lab, a Break area, a Supply closet, a File Room, Washer Dryer area, A play yard for adopters to interact with the animals, a Supervisor office, and Animal Control Officer area, a front desk and lobby for citizens and customers to be able to wait without being uncomforable.
We are estimating the cost of this type of facility would run about $2,000,000.00. Thank you so much to all the furbaby lovers in the world and please help us reach this goal!!
