38080506_1553763132120978_r.jpeg38080506_155376316752810_r.jpegIt is  very sad that I am having to do this but the outpouring of love And concern I have received on social media and in person about my kitty, poodle, has brought me here.
Poodle is in the custody of Wake county animal control over a alleged, “cat attack”.  My Roomate has claimed that she “came after him while doing dishes and attacked him”.
It is protocol for when an animal bites someone that they be quarantined for 10 days if their rabies shots are not up to date. Poodle was unfortunately not up to date.
But the photos and evidence I have gathered tell a different story. It is clear that my Roomate had to have provoked poodle in order to to receive the defensive “wounds” he received. Not to mention the bruises to her ear and chunks of fur ripped out of her neck.
Today, 3/27/19 I went to my leasing office and terminated my lease in order to get as far away from my Roomate who has been tormenting my cat when I am not home.
Any help is appreciated. I’m not one to ask for38080506_1553762991912427_r.jpeghelp but it isn’t for me at the end of the day. It is for poodle. She has already been thru so much before being found and fostered and getting adopted for this to happen it is just downright wrong.
My heart breaks for her.  All I want to do is give her the life she deserves. She has a safe place to stay with a family member when she gets out of quarentine if I havnt found a new place to move into in the coming weeks.
It is so unfair that she has had to go thru this process when she has done nothing wrong. Again, anything helps, I just want to give my kitty the life she deserves so anything is appreciated.
I could not say thank you enough to all of poodle’s followers and supporters for their outpouring of love and prayers for poodle.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out. ❤️❤️38080506_1553763528418460_r.jpeg38080506_1553763616281916_r.jpeg

POODLE IS BACK!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Back safe and in loving arms. I got her out of quarantine today at around 2:30pm. She is doing great and starting to feel much better! She seems to have lost quite a bit of weight and I’m thinking she hasn’t eaten much bc of all the stress. She has received her updated rabies shot and I am taking her to her vet appointment at 5:30pm tonight where she will get any necessary test and shots taken care of. She has a safe place to stay in the interim of trying to find a new permanent home for the both of us. Thank you to everyone for all the prayers, support, and concern! I am just so happy to have her back and ready to put all of this behind us! Again, thank you to everyone. You all are the best!!!❤️❤️❤️

WOW!!! We have reached our goal in only 5 days!!!! You guys are amazing, I can not thank you enough!❤️❤️ At the moment this is a great start. I will say that the total could be subject to change in the next coming weeks/months as I receive more information about attorney fees and any court cost when ever that happens. I will definitely be keeping everyone updated.

I have decided to bump up our original goal of 4K to 5k for anyone who would like to continue to donate. Every single dollar helps out immensely. If you want to donate and get poodle something specific I can do that and personally send you the proof of purchase for whatever it may be. Also anything that is left over at the end of everything I will donate to a charity. Again, thank you all SO SO SO much!!!❤️

I just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who has contributed. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. I am amazed at the outpouring of support poodle and I have received.
I also want to update everyone on poodle. She is currently under quarantine at the wake county animal center. No one is allowed contact with her untill the 10 days have gone by.

People have been inquiring if she has a safe place to stay when she is released and the answer is yes. She will be staying with a direct family member and in complete care.
I have been told that I will be able to get her back on 4/4/19. Believe I will be there an hour before they open, waiting to be reunited.

I also wanted to talk about her 4k$ goal and elaborate on that. These donations will go directly to the cost of terminating my lease, the cost of finding a new living arrangement, any fees related to her boarding in quarantine and updated shots. In addition, any costs that my evolve if my Roomate persues any punitive measures.
I am also interested in donating anything that is left over to some kind of charity. If anyone has any suggestions on places I could donate, please feel free to let me know. I would prefer it to go to some kind of animal charity but I’m not familiar with very many so any suggestion is welcomed.
Thank you all so much❤️
