Tent City Fire Aid

On Saturday the 9th of September the residents of Tent City attended the Wild Goose soup kitchen. When they returned to their homes they found an arsonist had set fire to multiple tents at different locations, destroying not only their belongings but their only place to sleep.
Bristol Housing Action Movement has a long history of working with Tent City; recently installing a solar panel and helping the residents set up an allotment. We are raising funds to help with the support, relocation and medical care of the group.
With winter a few months away it is very important that we provide the duty of care that Bristol City Council will not, the closer we get to our goal the quicker this can happen.
