Mina’s Mini Farm es una granja que inicialmente nació como un programa de
Shine Bright Foundation para proveer estimulación además de interacción con animales de granja a niños y adultos con condiciones especiales como síndrome de down, autismo y lesión cerebral entre otras condiciones.
Despues de unos meses de creado su fundadora Amina Taulbee decidió usar animales rescatados en vez de animales comprados por criaderos para que de esta manera este programa tuviera una misión aún más valiosa. Así ha sido desde mediados del 2017 todos los animales de la granja son rescatados y tienen diversas historias, algunos de ellos vienen de Mataderos otros de granjas que los venden para sacrificios religiosos y últimamente se han sumado animales que son entregados por personas que los encuentran o no lo pueden tener más bajo sus cuidados por problemas de Salud o económicos.
Mina’s Mini Farm sin esperarlo o planificarlo se ha convertido en mucho más que un programa de Shine Bright Foundation, es ahora el hogar de animales rescatados y cada día nos damos cuenta de la necesidad enorme que hay de santuarios que tengan estabilidad económica vocación y amor para rescatar rehabilitar y brindar un hogar a estos animalitos que son más valiosos para nuestra comunidad vivos que muertos!
Amina Taulbee la fundadora de Shine Bright Foundation y creadora de Mina’s Mini Farm, usa la mayoría de animalitos rescatados ahora no solo para el beneficio de los miembros en la fundación si no también para los visitantes de nuestra comunidad los cuales interactúan con los rescatados y escuchan sus historias de rescate de esta manera también logramos sensibilizar y educar a nuestra comunidad sobre la importancia del respeto que debemos tener y la indiferencia que hemos tenido hacia estos animales los cuales estamos matando por falta de sensibilidad y educación.

Mina’s Mini Farm necesita comprar un terreno en un área agrícola, anhelamos de 5 acres a 7 acres mínimo y poder efectuar esta compra a nombre de nuestra fundación
Shine Bright Foundation la cual es una fundación sin ánimos de lucro y registrada legalmente como una 501c3.
En este momento nos encontramos en un terreno rentado y aunque hemos hecho construcciones pertinentes para que nuestros rescatados tengan espacios de descanso seguros contra depredadores en las noches y refugios en días de lluvia! Nos urge tener un terreno propio para hacer áreas más fuertes para los animales y contra posibles daños por lluvias o incluso huracanes los cuales en la Florida estamos expuestos a estos cambios de ambiente todos los años!

Mina's Mini Farm is a small farm project that was initially developed as a program for Shine Bright Foundation, a non-profit based in Miami.
The program provides stimulation and interaction with farm animals to children and adults with special conditions such as down syndrome, autism and brain injury among other conditions.
After a few months into the program, Shine Bright Foundation’s founder Amina Taulbee decided to rescue animals for the program, instead of purchasing them from animal farms, so that this program automatically became an even more valuable mission. This has been the case since mid-2017 and each and every animal has its own story to tell. Some of them come from slaughterhouses, some from other farms that sell them for religious sacrifices and lately quite a lot are rescue animals from people that either found them on the streets or cannot keep them due to health or economic reasons.
Mina's Mini Farm, has become much more than only a program of Shine Bright Foundation. It is now the home of over 150 rescued animals. Every day we realize there is an enormous need of sanctuaries that have an economic stability, the vocation and love for rescues, to rehabilitate and provide a home to all the animals that are more valuable to our community alive than dead!
Amina Taulbee uses the majority of her rescued animals now not only for the benefit of the members of the foundation but also for the community to interact with them and learn about their stories. This way we manage to sensitize and educate our community about the importance and respect we must have towards the animals and to address the indifference shown by killing them (especially the wrong way) due to lack of sensitivity and education.
Mina's Mini Farm has grown not only through the number of its animals but also in its mission and we are in need of your support so that this valuable mission is maintained and continues to grow!
In the near future Mina's Mini Farm needs to urgently buy land in an agricultural area, of approximately 5 to 7 acres on behalf of Shine Bright Foundation, which is a legally registered 501c3.
We are currently leasing half an acre and although we have built pertinent and safe constructions/stables for our rescues this is only a temporary solutions. We urgently need our own land to build weather resistant, stronger shelters that are safe throughout the year. Hurricane proof, rain proof and predators proof!
