Techie's Cryptorchid Surgery Fund
Tax deductible
Techie showed up at a live stock auction on June 20, 2017. He was a little over a year old and he was just left at auction to be sold to the highest bidder. Thank god HiCaliber Horse Rescue was their to purchase him and he secured a spot on their trailer back to their ranch rather than ending up on the wrong trailer which could of ended up at a salughterhouse in Mexico. When Techie was brought to HiCaliber the next day the tried to geld him but only were to remove one of his testicles. The other had not dropped and being out in the feild the vets could not just go looking for it. Since he was not fully gelded Techie needs to go to San Louis Ray Equin Hospital to recieve another surgery in a hospital setting where they can safelty remove his other testicle. Until this surgery is done Techie can't be adopted from the rescue and he can't be with the other baby horses where he would be able to run and play and learn how to be a horse.
I think the saddest part of Techie's story is that he is such a sweet, timid guy. He leads, bathes, ties, and is just an all around sweetheart and instead of the person who owned him paying to get him the surgery that he needed they just left him at an auction where he could of potentially been sent to slaughter. If you can please help Techie. I want nothing more than to see him out in the pasture with all the other babies playing and being a horse and evetually getting to find his forever home with someone.
