Instead of being able to use her remaining energy to fight off the disease...

Pamela’s former travel industry clients, colleagues and friends have set up this go fund me page.

Pamela Johnston is a 49 year old woman with two children who has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that spread to her bones.  It is both the scariest and saddest time in her life. But, instead of being able to use her remaining energy to fight off the disease, and live whatever time she has left with serenity (26% chance of making it 5 years) she is forced to sue her ex-employer for wrongful termination.
Why did she get fired??? For disclosing her illness to the company, she says.  Outrageous, right??!!  This employee termination is a death sentence for Pam. Not only did she lose her job, her social interactions and support from her co-workers….she loses her ability to pay for medical and alternative treatment.  No income, no chance.
Through these horrendous events, Pam is about to lose her residence and is about to go from friend’s house to friend’s house. This is no way to live when you are terminally sick. Imagine how it would feel to be distraught with terminal cancer and be a fixture in friends’ houses, having to move every few days or weeks?  This should not happen to anyone ever!
Pam may not be around when she eventually wins this lawsuit. She is fighting for herself, her children and for the many other people with silent stories.
While Pammy has received an outpouring of immeasurable love and support from family and freinds, Pammy needs financial help. She needs any donation so that she can rent a place to live and pay for medical treatment where she has her support group and currently lives. Maybe there is even someone out there with the ability to temporarily donate an unoccupied apartment or home for this cause.

Please help us help Pam fight this battle with some dignity and grace, just like everyone should be entitled to do.

Let's show Pam support when her employer failed her. In the end, good people will stick together and show them that it should be mandatory to offer compassion and help to people whose lives are truly affected by such injustices.
Remember, if no one stands up for what is right, the next person it could affect could be you.
Thanks in advance for helping. It is incredibly appreciated by Pam and her family.  Please note that "donations made to GoFundMe Personal campaigns are generally considered to be personal gifts and are not guaranteed to be tax-deductible".
