February 2014 after months of hip and lower back pain Casey was misdiagnosed with a SI joint disorder. After multipe chiropractor and doctors appointments an MRI was finally ordered and the scans found a 2x2 inch tumor on his spine. He went in for surgery to have it removed. After a long 14 hours in the hospital the surgeons successfully removed about 95% of the tumor. The tumor was sent in for a biopsy and a few days later, in August of 2014, Casey was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a very aggressive bone cancer. Soon after he was informed his chemotherapy treatment would consists of 13 rounds of chemo and 42 treatments of Radiation. Through this time he has had his bad days, good days and many physical changes which has caused him not to be able to continue his physical job as a laborer. We are looking to raise some money for him to have a fresh start after these many rough months of chemo. It will help him to pay off bills, purchase a car and also find a home to make his own with his girlfriend and her child. Anything is greatly appreciated by all of us.
