The Special Athletes Cheer Team from RCA NEEDS YOUR HELP! We have been selected to compete in "The Battle at the Capitol," a spotlight event for special needs teams. They will be awarded bids to cheer at Cheerleading Worlds!!
This event will be held in Washington, D.C., on February 10, 2017. We are fundraising to purchase plane tickets for our athletes, and one parent each.
We are a non-profit team that practices 1-2 times a week, with volunteer coaches and "buddies." Their uniforms, airfare, hotels, etc. are all funded through donations.
The parents, coaches, and athletes are all working on other fundraisers as well, but if you could help by donating, it would really go a long way.
We have 20 athletes currently. They work very hard every week no matter the circumstances of their life or ability. Nothing holds them back and we want to give them every opportunity that comes their way!!
