Mari and Lynnie Mckinstry Fund
Many people have asked Jen and I (Cat) how they can help. So we created this fast, simple way for you to help make a difference. Your participation and support to help reach our goal of $10,000.00 is vital. You can simply make a difference by making a cash donation of ANY amount, however big or small. It truly adds up.
Mari is 30 years old and was recently married this past April. While most young couples would be enjoying their honeymoon phase, she is sadly spending it back at the hospital. She is currently recovering from her 5TH CRANIOTOMY and is now fighting not only her cancer but an infection as well. I think many of us know her plight... but they dont know how much she has endured to this point. ITS JUST NOT FAIR!!
We are pleading for any help you may possibly be able to give. And please spread the word and this link to all your friends and family that would like to help a family in need. I can't think of two greater people who deserve a lending hand. God bless them for all they have been handed to deal with in this lifetime!!
We would like to thank you in advance for your kind hearted gift. I know $10,000.00 sounds like alot, but it is obtainable. We are looking to our friends to work hard in obtaining our goal.
GO TEAM MCKINSTRY
As of yesterday 6/17/14 Mari was discharged from the hospital still with many medical needs, so she could receive her "out-patient" Chemo Therapy treatment. She then directly after the infusion entered In-patient Rehab at the same hospital which will provide intense therapy and hopefully enable her to return home functioning at the highest level possible. Thank goodness she does have insurance which is helping with all of this...
Even with the best of care, there is nothing like family support to make things hopefully go smoother. Anyone who has had anyone go through a devastating illness such as this, knows how important it is to have loved ones involved and participating in all aspects of care. It is essential to the recovery process. Working full time as a nurse I am probably more involved than most would be comfortable with...but I need to do this in my heart for my daughter. This fund is helping me to do that for as long as is needed...she will need someone with her 24/7 when she leaves the rehab unit. I want that person to be me, and her loving husband Nathan.
Here is an artical from Mari's Cousin:
Please keep sharing this post so we can all help Lynnie stay with Mari through this difficult time. Whether its hours of leave you can spare or even $5.00. Anything will help!
