Help a future teacher
Donation protected
Foundations of Healing has launched a program to help future teachers. Read the story below and support future teachers by supporting this initiative.
Teachers are leaving the industry every day. We are fast approaching a national crisis as the shortage of teachers continues to grow. Between increased pressures due to standardized testing and the grueling demands of the process of becoming a teacher continue to highten, isn't it time we do something about it? We need to encourage and support prospective teachers. The initiative started by Foundations of Healing is designed to do just that. We are looking to create a scholarship trust fund that will help people, with quality life experience interested in changing careers, by providing support and encouragement to pursue the process of becoming a teacher. This transitional support will aid these dedicated individuals with the expenses associated with becoming a teacher including licensing fees, testing fees, and senior internship wherein individuals are expected to work full time (40-50 hours per week) as teachers while both paying tuition to their university and not receiving any compensation for their time and work. Help us to support these individuals by donating today!
