Dear Friend of the Tualatin Dance Company,
We would like to thank you in advance for allowing us the opportunity to tell you about the talented girls we have in the Tualatin Dance Company.
Tualatin Dance Center has been in the community for over 25 years instilling girls with confidence and giving them an environment to go as far as they want to push themselves. We have an open door policy at our studio and believe that any child that has the desire to dance deserves the attention and opportunity to do so. Our community is what gives us strength, so teaching our girls to give back and share their talents and passions with everyone around them is a big part of our philosophy. With a staff full of talent and impressive backgrounds, our dancers are graced with incredible educations and examples that drive them to be the very best they can be. At Tualatin Dance Center, we are a family, and we extend that feeling to everyone who walks through our doors.
Within our studio, we have a select team of girls that have dedicated their time and talents to learning an extensive repertoire of dance pieces. The Tualatin Dance Company consists of 13 talented dancers who are passionately committed to various forms of dance. The dancers strive to become familiar with all aspects of dance including choreography, staging and performing. Our performing group has integrated themselves within our communities, donating their talents and services to several local charities.
This year our dancers have been invited to travel to New York to dance with the New York City Ballet, the Radio City Rockettes, and the Alvin Alley Ballet School as well as to participate in advanced dance workshops. They will also be able to see some shows that consist of professional dancers. It is a big opportunity and a momentous hill to climb for fundraising. We are asking for your help this year. Each girl must raise $1800-$1900 to get to New York, for a grand total of $30,000. This will fund their entire trip (travel, lodging, meals, etc.). Would you consider making a donation to get our dancers there?
Funds will be needed by April 1, 2016. Your generosity will truly impact the success of our very talented Tualatin Dance Company. Thank you in advance for your support.
