Prayers for Baby Katelee

Donation protected
Katelee Blythe Hylton was born March 17, 2015 - on St. Patrick's Day! She was immediately transported to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Cincinnati Children's Hospital due to extremely severe congenital heart defects. March 24th, the cardiologists told us there aren't any surgeries they can do to repair Katelee's heart, and informed us her only option to stay alive was to be listed for heart transplant. They began the evaluation process, and April 2nd she was placed on the UNOS transplant waiting list. Miraculously, after only 9 days on the waiting list, she received her heart on April 12th. She has battled and fought for each breath and beat of her heart every second of her life. Now her hospitalization will continue because she has developed some other problems with her blood, severe blood clots, and extreme anemia; for which the Drs have not been able to yet determine a cause. Our family has been relocated 5 hours away from our home in Kentucky since the beginning of February - with no plans on being able to go back home until July or August at least, completely depending on Katelee, her health, and test results. My husband has been separated from me, our oldest daughter Aubree (20 months old), and Katelee the majority of our time here, excluding his 1 month unpaid leave from work during Katelee's most critical time around the heart transplant. We have been blessed to have caring people in our lives who are concerned about our financial strain and want to help, or even just be able to help buy us a meal, so that is what lead us to start this account. Each contribution is greatly appreciated!
