Taylor Kortes Urgent Need

How can just let him die over policy?!?  Below is from the extreme very beginning : Our son, Taylor Michael Kortes, has been in a coma since Nov 17. He went to California, from Georgia, to work only for a few years. His, horrific, work related truck accident happened Nov 11. His severely broken up body survived this accident but it only barely survived the medical negligence from the first hospital he was taken to. The irresponsibility of the medical personnel, that he was handed off to, was horrific on multiple levels. The legalities of it all will be years in the making. That being said... He was transferred to UCLA, they saved his life. He is alone, zero family. He will get to the point that California will no longer be able to do anything for him other than keep him comfortable until he dies. It will cost $65,000 to move him from California to TIRR Hermann Memorial in Houston TX. There, they have a program that specializes in waking him up. They are a research & trials & innovative hospital. Their success rate is impeccable. They offer whatever is the newest  that may help restart his life. Insurance is now giving us denials, which of course we are appealing. But if we have to raise the $200,000 as self pay then that's what we'll do. It all may be years in the making but can only be possible if we get the funds together to move him. It's a costly move because he requires an ICU team to move him via air ambulance. When he is ready to leave TIRR we start the process all over again... Each step being closer to home (Savannah GA).  Grants have been applied for & charitable flight organizations have been contacted but they are lengthy processes. Taylor may not have that kind of time. We are begging for help for this very specific & imperative need. God Speed & please pray miracle prayers  for Taylor's amazing unfinished life.
