Tanner Overby's Recovery

On the morning of January 30th my cousin, Tanner Overby of Binford, ND, was feeding cows when his hands got caught in a chain of the feed wagon. He received extensive injuries to both hands and fingers. He was ambulanced to Cooperstown and then on to Alexandria, MN. From Alexandria he was life-flighted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. The rest of his family, Bruce, Elona, Tasha, and Trey and Tanner's girlfriend, Megan are currently in St. Paul with him.
At the hospital he underwent a 6.5 hour surgery to repair his hands. This morning they are working on getting blood flow back to them. He is currently in the intensive care burn unit as they are best suited for treating soft tissue damage like this. He may need another surgery today and will very likely need more surgeries in the coming weeks.
Tanner is a selfless, hard-working man. Once his family was able to visit him after the surgery he asked his dad if the cows had gotten fed. It just goes to show what kind of a wonderful person he is, worrying about his cattle rather than himself.
Anything you can offer will help Tanner and his family on his journey to recovery that lies ahead of him.
