Takoda's fence

My name is Mary. Two years ago I got my first dog on my birthday. Takoda was a herder and a handful! He loved to run! We attended obedience school twice to get me trained.  On 2/23/15 my little escape artist made a dash out the front door. Fifteen minutes later I heard a gun shot. Yep. A farmer in the area saw my herder in his pasture and shot my buddy. It breaks my heart to remember that day. I want another pup but I need a very secure 6' fence before I adopt a new baby. Can you help me ? It would mean so much to me. I need a goofy buddy to steal my socks and ease the ache of missing T-dog.
