Hello everyone! 
I am Monique or just "MO"! It's been a crazy up and down rollercoaster ride for the past week.!! I went into the emergency room with severe pain in my abdomen on Sunday, 9/6.  We found out that I had a 14x10 cm mass with many lesions surrounding the colon and uterus.  The doctor performed emergency surgery to remove the mass and my right ovary.   At that time it was determined that there are numerous tumors that will need to be treated through chemo and other measures. 
 
 I have been diagnosed with Appendiceal Cancer. Appendix cancer is diagnosed in fewer than 1000 Americans each year. I will have to travel to Baltimore where I will receive extradordinary levels of expertise and care. 

Mo's Kicking Cancer's Ass  is the story of a brave, strong, beautiful, creative, outgoing, boisterous young woman and mother of two precious children, Elijah Ray 5, and  Gia Jade 3.  We need our daughter, sister, girlfriend, aunt, cousin, best friend ...but most importantly Elijah and Gia need their mama!

Monique has always had a generous heart, helping others, whether they are a homeless person on the street or a  stranger in line at the grocery. Now it's time for us to help her! Please  donate !! She will need help with medical bills and living expenses... Her medical journey will be difficult enough, let's take some if the financial worries off the table.
