Hello everyone. This is Susie Sweet's oldest son Tony. I would like to share an update on Susie with you.
It is with great regret and sadness to inform you that after a courageous, very hard fought battle, our mom, Susie has lost her battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully at home with family present on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
The family would like to thank once again, from the bottom of our hearts, all of you who to date have donated to this GoFundMe campaign to assist with Susie's medical expenses. Your generosity has been so helpful and appreciated. Messages of condolence to the family can be shared at the funeral home web page at http://www.methvenfuneralhome.com/obituary/susanne-sweet. In accordance with Susie's final wishes, there will not be a formal funeral service. There will be a private family memorial service on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Susie's and her husband Robert's private residence in Sandstone, MN at 2pm to celebrate Susie's life.
In lieu of flowers or rememberance gifts, and to assist the family offset funeral and memorial service expenses, monetary donations are being accepted via Susie's Cancer GoFundMe page here: https://www.gofundme.com/t74jmw-susys-medical-fund.
