Help the homeless
I saw this post and it led me to Wavy 10 & now it brought me here. I'll definitely donate but this story really hit me, as I had just finished giving someone homeless some food from Mannino's that they could eat. (Granted it was leftovers but barely eaten & he seemed like he could use it more than I could and he was so thankful for it) & I had just finished saying to myself I need to start something. An organization. Something to help these people who truly need it. Just to at LEAST get them back on their feet. And here I am. If you need any help or would like to try to go even bigger than this, I would love to get together with you and some other people and make this a thing. A true organization. You're a great person for this and may God bless you.
Hello. Does anyone know of ways to volunteer to help the homeless in the Chesapeake, VA. area?
My prayers are up. I am homeless as well. I have a page as well
Wow Jack! You are still at it! I haven't seen an update in a while and kind of forgotten about it. Since you continue your grassroots movement of actually accomplishing what bureaucracy has so much trouble with, I guess it time for me to donate again! One of the most motivating things about giving is actually seeing and hearing how my donations added to others are helping in my community! Thanks for continuing to make this world a better place!
I only gave a small contribution based on your request. Please let us know if you need more to reach more homeless persons.
Thanks for the update, Jack. I'm so glad that WAVY highlighted your noble effort. I'm happy that you were able to provide so much for these people in need, especially going into such a cold weekend. You say that our support has made a difference in their lives. That's a two-way street because it truly is better to give than to receive. You, sir, have taken "To Protect and To Serve" to a whole new level.
you saw the need, and did something abt. it...many would have just ignored it....thank you for tapping into what had to be done and letting all of us know about it...People do care and people want to help where they KNOW it will do some good.
This is awesome me and my kids feed the homeless for Thanksgiving and Christmas as well as gifts ( socks, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap and wash clothes
I appreciate Jack's dedication and I am happy to help. One thoughtful, generous, pro-active law enforcement Lieutenant at a time, we can make this a better world. God bless you and those you help.
