Sweet Pea's Emergency Care

Donation protected
A few days ago, our little kitten, Sweet Pea suffered a horrible attack.  We found her laying in a puddle of blood, eyes wide open and we thougt we had lost her. Learn more by watching our video here.

She  was in 24 hour intensive vet care for several days until we brought her home because we couldn't afford the $500/day for the emergency care, plus we wanted to be close to her, it was over an hour away drive for us to visit with her every day.

She was a happy, loving, 5 month old, sweet hearted kitten who gave her all to us.   We are doing everything we can to help her fight and live a happy life.  It all happened in a quick instant.  Our dog who we have had since he was 3 months old, who would wag his tale and like Sweet Pea and play with her, suddenly just snapped and bit her in the head.  My husband and I thought she was gone, but she is such a fighter she hung on until we raced her to our local vet.  There was nothing they could do for her, but put her on oxygen and give her some pain meds.  Then we had to rush her over an hour away to a Emergency 24 hour vet.  She stayed there for days with constant looking after.  It was around $2000 for her to be there for a few days.  They did some x-rays, gave her some pain meds, and hooked her up to an iv to give her much needed fluids.

It's a long road a head of us, but we want to do anything possible for her, but with the vet bills and the special diet foods and all the meds, we can't afford all of this on our own.

The Dr's said she needs a MRI done, because we don't know how much of her brain was touched by his tooth and do not know how much damage was done.  The vet knows by looking in her ear that he broke and disloged her ear drum.  There is a surgery she can go through to get this fixed, but we just don't have the funds to do so.  Because of this she can not walk or stand up and is finally haveing some small progress holding up her head, but only for a second or two.

I know its a lot to ask, but any amount you can offer,  we'd be eternally grateful to help with Sweet Pea's expenses and recovery as its going to be a long ride, lots of meds and vet visits.   We would use every penny for our Sweet Pea and her recovery.  I know with all my heart she will recover from this, but unfortunatly it will take  months, but I will not give up on her and with your help we can make her live a happy healthy life.

My family and I would be eternally grateful for the rest of our lives if you were able to help us save her.  She means the world to myself and my husband but so much more to our girls.  They have been so strong and helpful with her.  They help hold her and feed her through a syring and help wash her soiled blankets and towels because she can't use the litter box yet.

You will never know how grateful we are for you to be reading this let alone any amount you can share to help us get our Sweet Pea back to normal.
