Student Veterans House Renovation

The Student Veterans Organization of Southeast Missouri State University is dedicated to helping Veterans make the transtion from the military service to academia.  Student Veterans are faced with many unique challenges, and so the need for a Student Veterans Organization on campus is necessary, to assist these transitioning Veterans and their families with navigating through and resolving those challenges. 

In an effort to assist in minimizing one piece of the transition experience, the SEMO Student Veterans Organization has recently acquired a house.  This house will serve as a transition house for Veterans attending Southeast Missouri State Universtiy. It will also help by creating a valuable network of Veterans and resources, both on and off campus. It will enable Veterans to live with others who have faced similar issues/challenges and can help them adapt to the college and civilian lifestyle. However, the house is in dire need of repairs and a full remodel, in order to be occupied.
