Suttersville - An Episodic Small Town Drama
Suttersville is a drama series based on a fictional small town where a man is incarcerated after taking the rap for his desperate younger brother in an illegal insurance scam. When fear and regret from his incarceration turn to spite and revenge, he becomes a sadistic puppeteer setting off a chain of events that orchestrates a wrath of trouble and chaos upon his brothers’ life and the town that turned its back on him. As the cat and mouse games unfold, the lives of this small vulnerable community are exposed, revealing a gorge of lies, betrayal, deceit and greed.
The story dives deep into the personal lives of the individual characters, peeling back layers of the demons that make them who they are.
Conception of this project began in September of 2017, starting with a single idea for a scene. From there a story line developed and the script for the pilot was completed a couple of months later. With that, we formed a production company (Mountain Crest Productions) and teamed up with a wonderful group of actors and crew to make the Theatrical (extended version) Trailer, which you can view in this campaign.
Your contribution will help us to make the professional and compelling show that we know will create the buzz needed to grab the attention of the film industry and gain the audience that will catapult Suttersville into a full network series.
To get this pilot made would be an utter dream come true and help kick start the careers of those of us who have poured our hearts and souls into it, giving us the momentum needed to make Suttersville a full time job.
