We who live in the San Bernardino mountain community are connected securely to the ROTWNEWS.com, an online news service, that held us together through storms, fires and celebrations. Now we must mourn the sudden passing of the Editor, Michael P Neufeld, an extraordinary journalist whose whole life was dedicated to delivering the news accurately, honestly and without bias or opinionatd slant.
Losing Michael so suddenly and unexpectedly, has left his wife, Susan, after knowing him for most of her life, without the financial resources to cover the costs of hospital, burial and the memorial service that will honor hislife in this community and beyond.

So many of us have been honored to call him "friend" and blessed by his enduring compassion and friendsip. Let us honor him now by contributing to this memorial for his life of service in return for his enormous expenditure of time and energy in the service of reporting the news.
Everyone who met him appreciated his warm smile and friendship, and we all miss him as if the sun went down while it is yet day.
