Surgery Saves Sam

Sam (AKA Daryl's Mom... long story) showed up in our barn about a year ago a very shy, skittish, and suspicious little guy.  Over time and lots of food Sam opened up to us, and now he is a very sweet boy.  Unfortunately, Sam began showing signs of an ear infection.  After a trip to the veterinarian we discovered that the infection was actually much more serious than that.  Sam has a aural polyp which has not responded to less aggressive therapies. He needs surgery to remove his ear canal so that he can have a happy comfortable life, but this surgery and after care will be very costly.  We want to do what we can to help Sam so that he can eventually find a forever home that can support his needs.
