Surgery to save Collapsing spine

Donation protected
Single mother with collapsing spine.
With every month that passes my spine curves further. Time is no longer on my side.

With over 14 degrees increase in curvature in just the past 3 years, my future will be filled with excruciating pain, loss of mobility and if heavily medicated, an inability to grow my business and function as I currently can.

I was diagnosed with Scoliosis at 19 years of age, which was considered mild. Until the age of 40 the curvature increased by only 2 degrees.
After an unexpected twin pregnancy at 40, leaving me with a very separated abdominal muscle, my spine is now curving at an accelerated rate.

I do not want to get to the point of spinal fusing, medications and nerve damage, before I try to intervene. Repairing my core strength provides support to my fragile back, as was the case prior to my twin’s birth.
I have now saved $6000 towards the $15000 surgery bill, but need this surgery NOW, not in another year or two. By that time, the curves in my spine may have increased to over 50 degrees, and the damage too severe to treat the symptoms without the heaviest pain medications, and evasive spinal surgery.
I am a single mother with 6 year old twins and a 14 year old son. I need to stay functional for another 10 – 15 years or my children will be helping to care for me, which is what I must avoid at all costs.

The surgery I required is currently listed with medicare as a cosmetic procedure, including skin removal. It is classified as a Tummy Tuck, for people after extreme weight loss. I do not need a Tummy Tuck, just an abdominal repair, which I am happy to have done externally, scarring me significantly, if it gets me fixed faster. I have never been overweight and therefore do not qualify for the surgery.
My back is not a consideration.

The public health system will repair my umbilical hernia’s as they keep forming due to the muscle separation though, and will perform spinal fusing.
My doctors have also written statements stating this surgery needs to be performed, with the expectation of delaying spinal surgery, hopefully indefinitely, in referrals to surgeons.
I am unable to access my superannuation on compassionate grounds as this is ultimately approved by medicare.
Thailand surgeons are hesitant to operate requesting organ testing, ultrasounds and surgeon reports before accepting me as a patient. Organ failure can be an additional complication due to the pressure of displacement. Due to my health complications the costs are similar in both countries.

Due to the extreme pain I was experiencing, I was introduced to Near-Infrared LED Pain therapy. As a result I am still medication free, upright and fully functional. However with the increase in curvature, I do not expect to remain so, which is why I am desperate to prevent further spinal damage. I currently need to use the lights daily to maintain low pain levels, however if the spinal curvature increases, heavy medications will be needed.

I do not wish to be a burden in later years on the tax payer. I have a growing business, which I expect to expand into local factories, employing others. This can't happen if I am living in pain, bent over, or bedridden.
As I am a proud person,  I request you invest in one of my products, giving you something in return for your kindness, which utlimately will help you also.

The effects that light therapy has had on treating my symptoms has been so profound, that I designed and had manufactured the WellBeam Patch pain therapy device .  Although sales are increasing due to referrals over the past 18 months, it is not growing as fast as the curve in my spine. Time is against me so I need to speed things up.
This technology can accelerate healing, reduce nerve damage and relieve pain. Unfortunately for me, it cannot sew my seperated muscle back together or straighten my vertebrae. It is however, providing me signficant pain relief and continued movement.

Please read comments from WellBeam Patch user’s who have now bought multiple devices. I am living proof of how well this technology works, as I still have the majority of movement (limited in neck), and can stay medication free, with frequent use of the WellBeam.
With every donation of $250 a WellBeam Patch will be shipped to you.
Smaller donations are of course very welcome, and appreciated.

The WellBeam Patch is flexible containing 45 diffused diodes. It can rested against or worn under clothing.
This technology is completely safe, affordable and most importantly, highly effective. The WellBeam Patch is TGA registered, embracing scientifically proven (incl NASA) technology, and made in Australia with a 12 month warranty.

Chronic back pain, scoliosis, bursitis, sciatica, Fibromyalgia, Shingles, Nerve damage, wound healing, muscle fatigue, Arthritis, joint pain, migraine, to list just a few, all benefit from the use of WellBeam Patch.
