Surgery in Turkana is a Spanish surgical project since 2004. We organize surgical camps in the Turkana area , north of Kenia , one of the poorest places around the world. Every year we move to Turkana, general surgeons, Ginecologist , Orthopedics , Maxilofacial , anesthetist  , logisticians and media staff.  We operate people in Turkana and we are their only hope to be assisted. We cover all expenses for the patients screening , something really important in a region without roads and communications. That means vehicles, fuel , screeners, food, mattresses , operations and transportation to the hospital , in Lodwar and back home.
In 2018 the group of doctors was 21 and 1 logisticians .
We also paid for the surgical staff , medicines , orthopedic supplies , accommodation and food for patients and doctors. This year we operated 262 people between Lodwar hospital and Kakuma Hospitals, Mission and Refugee camp hospital.
We need a lot of help to continue with our surgical camps and we hope that 'gofundme' will help us raise more funds with the help of all of us.
