Our goal

To inspire learners to reach their potential, think critically about the world they live in today and instil in them a sense of hope in the future by:

    -   supporting school aged children, young people and their families by helping them perform better at school and create a successful future for themselves:  we do so by providing them with an inclusive and safe environment to learn and study support tailored for their needs.

    -   offering fun learning activities to encourage learners to tap into their creativity for self-development:  we build emotionally significant links to the life of each child and engage all the senses and use play and arts and crafts to support and promote creative thinking.

    -   working with Lego or modelling clay in  story writing  workshops to lead learners to imagine their own worlds and write short stories while they develop English literacy – whether they are filled with magic carpets or flying robots!

Our story

Talk Together London Community Interest Company is a social enterprise business with charitable objectives, delivering educational services to children, young people and families.  Our programmes cover a diversity of neighbourhoods, families and schools.

Talk Together London CIC designs, organizes and delivers activities and services that benefit people experiencing social and economic disadvantage. The business is a 'CIC' company registered by guarantee with charitable objectives.  As a social enterprise business, Talk Together London creates resources to fund the services that achieve its charitable objectives.

CICs are social enterprise businesses run for a social, charitable objective, meaning that any surplus created or profit made is reinvested in the company's activities, in order to benefit the community, in accordance with the objectives approved by the CIC Regulator. Talk Together London  is a registered "Community Interest Company", as denoted by the three letters “C I C” at the end of its name.

We run  after school clubs in schools and enrichment events and workshops in libraries and community centres. Our activities are organised with a personal, cross-cultural approach. This includes one on one  and group tutoring and mentoring.

Can you help?

Talk Together London generates sustainable income by means of trading through the online shop  and delivering events  amd activities such as workshops  and one-to-one or group tuition , in order to fund the delivery of services in the community.  By donating you are helping to deliver community services and to achieve charitable objectives.

As a social enterprise we fund our own activities. The funds we raise are used to get on board freelancer tutors and facilitators and to have additional supplies and learning materials to support the learners in their journey towards achieving their goals in their education and careers.
