Help Support Jake's Family!

Donation protected
As many of you may have heard, 14 Marines and 1 Sailor were injured during a training accident at Camp Pendleton on September 13, 2017.  Included in this group was our own hometown hero Corporal Jacob McMahon. Upon hearing the news, many of Jake's family members immediately went to California to be near his side.

Thankfully, Jake's medical expenses as well as the travel expenses for his parents will be covered. There is still a concern for his parents/family however, for longer term financial management and potential loss of wages as they continue to support Jacob during his road to recovery.  This is particularly of concern as this road (at least for the next undefined period of time) will be traveled on the opposite side of the country from their home and places of work.

Our goal is to help the FAMILY of Jake McMahon (including his parents and grandparents!) while they remain by Jake's side as he heals from the injuries he sustained.  Removing any worry of unanticipated costs their family may encounter during this lenghty process will help them be able to concentrate exclusively on supporting Jake.

Jake and his fellow Marines/Navy Sailor are all truly heroes , and focused on each other's well being immediately after the accident, in spite of their own individual injuries.  Jacob and his family's continued positive attitude and ability to smile in spite of the circumstances are remarkable and are a true source of inspiration. Anyone who has the privilege of knowing Sean and Maryanne (Jacob's parents) can attest to the fact that they, in their own rights, are both amazing and generous people who have done much to help those in need around them for years.

Ultimately, because of the honesty and generosity of the McMahon Family, please be aware that any residual and unused funding will be payed forward to those who CAN use it so please contribute what you may to help support them!
