I have the honor to participate in the Social Impact Trip of 22STARS in Uganda, specifically in Kampala and Jinja.
22STARS now supports more than 300 children in the long-term
school attendance and allows 60 families. To get more effect,
I want to raise money so I can help with the distribution of food,
medication and clothing. Please help me with a small contribution!

Why do the children in Uganda need your support?
20 years of civil war demanded heavy burdens for the children. The parents of our children fled during the war with the LRA and Joseph Kony from northern Uganda to Kampala to seek refuge. They lived in the Acholi district, a slum area that surrounds several quarries. Even children over the age of 3 are hitting stones to earn money for food. Although it is peaceful now in Uganda, the fight against poverty continues in the Acholi neighborhoods. The parents of most of the children are illiterate, traumatized, HIV-positive, became pregnant at a very young age and have to take care of a large family. Many of the children have lost one of their parents or even both. They are often cared for by an aunt or uncle. We want a better future for these children and their communities. Therefore, they need education. Once they are doctors, engineers, teachers, etc., they will also be able to give something back to their community.
How you can help:
With help of the 22STARS Foundation, 300 children are able to go to school. However, the waiting lists of children who do not have a long-term sponsor are endless.
In addition, it happens again and again that sponsors leave the foundation and children are not allowed to go to school if their school fees can not be paid. With the collected donations, you can be helped these children.
With only 20 € you pay for one month the school fee for a child
With only 80 € a whole semester school fees
And with just € 240 a full year school fees for a child
The families need also the following practical things:
3-bed bunk bed (super practical for the family): 80 euros
Mattress: 18 euros
Blanket: 5 euros.
Mosquito net: 6 euros. (Malaria is endemic)
What happens with your money:
Everything that is collected will go directly to the 22STARS Foundation. Founder Stella Airoldi regularly visits Uganda and works together with the local project managers. Everything is made very transparent and the annual financial reports can be viewed on the website.
