Hello, my name is Michael Zeeng! I am the group leader of 12th Caulfield (VIC) Scouts. In 2019 there will be an Australian Jamborree in Tailem Bend (SA). We have two scouts and a scout leader from Mongolia who would like to attend the event.
The Jamboree provides young people with opportunities to learn about each other, celebrate their similarities, understand their differences and suggest ways in which scouts can contribute to being active citizens for the greater good of a better world.
They will be paying their own airfares to Australia and need assistance to attend to the event. We need to raise a minimum of $2055, which will cover their entrance fees for this event. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help make their dream of attending this come true.
After the Jamboree, the scouts will be staying with Australian scouting families, and their leader will join a local scouting leader from Melbourne. If we fundraise enough money, we would like to take the scouts and their leader to experience 'Aussie Life'.
