The last 2 years have been a full on battle. Drevan has been a unprecdented hero, along with his mom; Shanti, dad;Hugh and brother and sister, Jonathan and Lakita.
Drevan went into remission in November of 2016 only to find out in Febuary 2017 it came back. Doctors successfully removed the tumour and all was well. It reappeared yet again in June and his little body did not respond to chemo but the doctors were able to remove it yet again through surgery. October 2017, Shanti found another tumour. The battle began again. He was admitted to the Stollery on Thursday November 16 2017. They found tumours in his left lung and right shoulder. They took him into surgery to drain his lung because it was so full of fluid. They began Chemotherapy on Saturday that was to run for a week. It is with deep sadness that they have decided to stop chemotherapy and all other procedures and make Drevan as comfortable as they possibly can. Spending the remainder of their precious days together.
We need to come together to finacially help this young family. The costs are suffocating as is the deep grief. Shanti, Hugh, Jonathan and Lakita need to be supported in all aspects. Finacially, mentally, spiritually and physically. Please help us raise this money and even surpass it!!!
