Wanda and Dale Hanson have been residents of Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan for many years. Many people got to know Wanda personally by visiting the Pilot Butte Confectionary she owned and worked at. They raised their family in this town.
On Saturday, July 15, 2017, Wanda and Dale's family home was devastated by fire. Despite efforts by several fire departments, they lost everything in this fire, including family pets.
It takes time to apply and sort out insurance in times of emergency. There is an immediate need to help this family through this difficult time. Over the next few days/weeks there will be drop off locations for clothing, gift cards and monetary donations. There are people who are working to plan fundraising events in the community as well.
