Support Two at NYU

The Twins, Tonya's miracle babies, these girls were born to a mother ailing with sarcodosis. When the doctors suggested terminating Tonya's twins for the sake of her well being, she said "no" and chose to fight for them.

Since birth Eleisha and Tonisha have fought to be the primary caretakers for their mother, maintain high grade point averages (4.2 and 3.8), working jobs to help pay bills, as well as navigating the pressures of being teens. 

Since joining the Visual and Performing Arts program at their school (Hyattsville Middle School and Northwestern High School), they found solace in their growing talent as artist. Their talent as well as their hard work academically has afforded them the opprotunity to recieve scholarships to pursue their art studies at NYU.

The full ride scholarships they obtained covers their tuition as well as housing. Unfortunately, the scholarships do not cover the remaining balance for meal plans, books/supplies, and other school required fees.

The recent passing of their mother this year has crippled their effort to acquire loans or any other aid to meet this need. Would you consider donating to help Eleisha and Tonisha continue their fight despite their adversities?  Whatever you can give is greatly appreciated!
