Help teen band, TiMELeSS Take Off!

Hello! And thanks for visiting our GoFundMe page! We are raising money so that we can finally get our band, TiMELeSS off the ground. You may have seen us at a street fair, block party, fundraiser, or anywhere around town. Or maybe you saw a video of us online We are a group of young teens from the south Chicago area, who have a passion for music. We love making our friends, neighbors, and fans happy through the power of music; our mission is to uplift our community. We’ve been a band for a bit more a year and a half, and we’re rapidly growing.
The band was started in December 2017 when bassist Sam Calhoon, and Vick Olaleye (drummer) got together to play, and realized that they should create and pursue a band. With the help of their singer and keyboardist (Alex and McKenzie Reese, both whom they knew from middle school), they assembled a team of musicians to play music, hiring a horn section (who they also knew from middle school), and we've been playing across Chicagoland ever since, loving every second of it. We have a strong passion for what we do. For the ten (updated: now twelve) of us in this band, we know big or small, music will be a part in our lives for the rest of our lives. If you come to one of our shows, you'll see the excitement we share when we know we've made our audience feel great. You'll see the audience's amazement at the high level of talent coming from musicians at such a young age. And you'll feel the energy between us and our audience. We love what we do.
However, with our rapid growth, we're missing essential equipment. We don't have enough microphones, cables, speakers, or lights to keep up with the demand for the entertainment we're being hired to do. As our mission is to give back to the community with music, we try to keep prices relatively low. All money earned from events goes to paying our hard working musicians. We need help to get the essential equipment, and get higher quality gear than the stuff that we do have.

-Personal instruments/gear (amps, accessories, etc)
-Lighting Equipment
-Recording Equipment
-Publicity (flyers, business cards, advertisements, merchandise) and transportation
