 It's with a heavy heart that I tell you of Robert Schmidt's passing on the morning of December 6th as the result of a stroke suffered while being cared for in the hospital for a serious health crisis, just          short of his 68th birthday. A funeral service will be held in the late afternoon of Saturday December 15th at the Adams Family Funeral Home in Cumberland, MD. There will be a viewing before the service on Saturday, as well as on Friday. Contact me for times, directions, or any other assistance I can offer you. There will be a reception for friends and students after the service at the Schmidts' home at 415 Bedford Street; please let us know if you plan to attend.

We would like to give our sincere thanks to the many people who have contributed so far, and for the outpouring of condolences and expressions of appreciation for Bob and his invaluable contributions to the art and science of astrology through his remarkable research over the last two decades.

This fund was set up by Robert's students and friends, on behalf of
Robert and his wife, Ellen. The purpose of this fundraiser is to support the medical bills and any potential hospice or funeral expenses that
Ellen will be left with.
