Support Reece Post-Surgery

Reece is the amazing son of a very dear friend of mine, Deedee. Reece is ten years old and in the fourth grade, and was recently diagnosed with an aneurysmal bone cyst that is boring into his pelvic bone. On January 26, Reece will go to the musculo-skeletal oncology department at Kaiser in Oakland to have the cyst removed and the bone filled. This serious surgery will require at least a month recovery during which Deedee will be unable to work in order to provide his care. Unfortunately, Deedee does not have any kind of paid time off so she will have no income during this time. I'm hoping that as many people as possible can contribute to this fund to help ease the stress during this difficult and scary time, and provide for any unforeseen expenses associated with his recovery.
